Making snickerdoodles with Mom on a chilly afternoon

You and I made browned butter caramel stuffed snickerdoodles this week. You were a champ at stuffing each cookie with the caramels and rolling them in cinnamon sugar. You chatted away while you worked. It was just you and me because it was quiet time and everyone else was sleeping or otherwise engaged. I am glad we got to spend that time together!

You and I were home together today so we blew bubbles. You were enthralled with the rainbowic spheres. You were pleasantly surprised each time one popped before your eyes. It was a simple yet beautiful moment. You are so interested in life! You giggle when Alyssa plays with you. You hold things in your hands, trying to discover what they are. Today I gave you a block and you shook it as if to see if it made noise like other things that you have played with. I am so grateful you came to earth; to our family!
